🎨 A painting or pottery class
A low-pressure way to laugh at your artistic talent—or lack of it—and create something together.
INSPIRATION
Dates worth showing up for.
A concert, a cooking class, a good restaurant or a great view. The best way to stand out might be having a great idea.

A little imagination goes a long way.
The best dates aren't always expensive or elaborate. They're thoughtful, specific and give two people something natural to talk about. Here are a few experiences that make good conversation easier.
🏀 A basketball game
Basketball, baseball, hockey or another live event is an easy way to share excitement when you both love the game.
🎶 A live show
Pick a small venue, emerging artist or genre you're curious about. Music gives you a built-in conversation starter.
🍝 A neighbourhood restaurant
Skip the status-symbol reservation. Choose somewhere you genuinely love and explain why it's worth trying.
🥾 A city walk or daytime hike
A scenic public trail or waterfront walk can feel relaxed and affordable. For a first meeting, choose a well-travelled route in daylight.
🖼️ A museum or gallery
There's no need to fill every silence when the exhibits give you something to react to and discover together.
These are illustrative date ideas, not offers or live invitations currently available on Bambi.
THE SECRET
Make it specific.
“We should hang out sometime” is easy to ignore. “There's a new jazz set Friday at seven—want to check it out?” gives someone a real idea to get excited about.
Offer a clear activity, approximate timing and a public meeting place. And discuss costs rather than making assumptions.
A BETTER INVITATION
“Sunday afternoon: coffee and a walk by the waterfront?”
Thoughtful, simple, easy to understand and doesn't require anyone to commit to a whole evening with a stranger.
THE POINT
Good dates aren't about showing off.
Effort means choosing something that reflects who you are and makes someone else feel considered. Whether it's a concert ticket or a casual coffee, your date idea tells a better story than another perfectly edited profile photo.
